They were premiered last week at the Extra Mile conference in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We received overwhelming response to the event and the greatest part was definitely hearing the stories of the people who came and getting to know our “peeps” better! We saw 2 people give their lives to Christ at the conference and many others told us how their lives had been changed. We love hearing that more than anything and I know this is the beginning of a lot of great things in this ministry.The “Songs In The Night” book is available in paperback or you may download the e-book (.pdf) or download the full audio version. Even though the event is over, you can still continue learning and growing with us, and here’s how:
1. “Songs In The Night” Power Study: Join me for an 8 week study of how to overcome the bad things that happen in life through faith and biblical study. If you attended the Extra Mile, this is a way to follow up, continue and deepen; if you were one of those who asked me to make a DVD of the event, this is for you–the real thing, not just a copy, and much more. We’ll have weekly written lessons with “homework” AND I’ll be on the phone with you every week to talk through the lessons and how they relate to exactly where YOU you are in YOUR life. Our discussion will be private, just among us. It will all happen on my website but in a special “members-only” area protected by your own personal password. We’re going to talk about how to rise up out of the pit and let God transform our thinking. We’re going to see in Scripture how to turn trials into victories. We’re going to learn that we don’t have to live according to our feelings and circumstances, but in Christ, our source of strength.

2. The Confidence Class: My mom, Debra, will be leading a 4-week study about how our thoughts affect every avenue of our lives, and how we can learn to see ourselves the way God sees us. If you’ve ever felt not good enough, or if you struggle with defeat and discouragement, this class will be a great tool for you to build your confidence and truly know your destiny in Christ. Her class will work a lot like mine- shortly before the class begins, you’ll receive a login password which will enable to you access the private website for the class. You’ll receive weekly lessons and homework and will be able to interact directly with her and other members of the class.

One more thing: We just learned today that there are only 40 cabins left for the November cruise. Here’s the skinny:
November 9-15, 2010. We will depart from Charleston, SC and sail aboard the Carnival Fantasy to Nassau and Freeport, Bahamas and Key West, Florida. Joining us will be the Hoppers, the Greenes, Ivan Parker, the Whisnants, the Pfeifers, and the Crist Family. We will have concerts and Bible studies on the ship and also enjoy all that the ports have to offer. The cost for the cruise is only $749 per person for an interior stateroom, or $799 for an oceanview stateroom. That’s a steal.
