Talley Trio
“They are real people.”
That’s what people say after meeting the Talley Trio. Roger, Debra and Lauren Talley are a musical family devoted to God and each other. While their roots are in southern gospel music, the east Tennessee family has developed a unique, progressive sound that combines southern gospel with more contemporary styles of Christian music. The hallmarks of the “Talley” sound are their lush arrangments, close-knit harmonies and powerful vocals.
The Talley Trio’s top priority in concert is to lift up Christ in their music while presenting the gospel to the listener through song and testimony. Their professionalism and pursuit of excellence is only superseded by their ability to connect with an audience through the message of love, grace and forgiveness.
Roger and Debra Talley have enjoyed many years at the forefront of gospel music. After beginning their careers in separate groups, they enjoyed much success with Roger’s brother, Kirk, performing as the Talleys from 1984-1993. Lauren was raised in this heritage and in 1996, the family began performing on a limited basis as the Talley Trio.
They have enjoyed ten number one singles, with two streaks of consecutive chart toppers. The Talley Trio’s most awarded, recognizable and requested songs include the hits:
Searchin’
The Healer
I Love The Lord
The Answer Is Christ
Jesus Saves
His Life For Mine
The Debt
The Broken Ones
That’s Enough
Life Goes On
In addition to these, they have received accolades for their hits “My Hope Is In The Lord,” “Mountain Mover,” “Orphans of God,” and “Testify.”
Their songs and recordings have received numerous accolades from the Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, Singing News Fan Awards, the Southern Gospel Music Guild Harmony Honors, the BMI Awards and SGN Music Awards. Each member of the Talley Trio has received multiple individual honors for their achievements.
The Talleys travel in excess of 100 dates per year, ranging from church settings to the National Quartet Convention stage and overseas tours to Northern Ireland, Italy, South Africa and Norway. They are noted for their appearances on the Gaither Homecoming concert tour and video series. They have appeared on television with Pastor John Hagee, Dr. Charles Stanley and Richard Roberts for Oral Roberts Ministries.
But for the Talleys, while those things are wonderful, they are not the primary focus. Roger, Debra and Lauren are involved in many endeavors and keep a busy traveling and recording schedule, but their relationships with God and each other are of paramount importance. Whether on a stage, in a church sanctuary, at a ball game or around the dinner table at home, their focus remains God and family.

Debra has received eight Singing News Fan Awards, four Southern Gospel Music Association awards, and numerous nominations for Female Vocalist and Alto of the Year. She has also co-written several songs recorded by the Talley Trio. Her velvety alto voice and warm personality endear her to all that meet her. Debra enjoys decorating, gardening, watching HGTV, and shopping in her spare time.

Lauren Talley
Born into a rich musical heritage, Lauren Talley has become one of the most versatile artists in Christian music. This extremely talented young lady with a passion for ministry is not only an accomplished vocalist, but is also an author, producer/arranger, voice/performance coach and studio background singer. Along with performing with her family, Lauren has an extensive solo career and has recorded four solo albums. Her latest, Songs In The Night, also accompanies her first book of the same title. She has received three Singing News Fan Awards, two SGN Music Awards, and a Southern Gospel Music Award for her individual work.
